The basic difference is the color of the casing (Toro red versus Yard Man green) and what the transmissions are called. The least expensive V belt I could find was $10.40 while the most expensive belt was $30.70 for a Toro 7776 V belt. A bagging blade kit for a push mower was $29.05 and a blade kit for a riding mower would run you between $40.84 and $96.37.

Most Toro lawn mower parts are in line with the other brands produced by MTD but they offer premium air filters for $17.22 while the foam air filter is less than $6. If you are mowing in a dry or dusty area you may need the Gold filter for less wear and tear on your mower. If you need a switch clutch for your Toro mower it will cost you around fifty dollars instead of the $120 a John Deere clutch would cost you.
